the music of Burnt Offerings is another aspect of our art. it is our original music: composed, arranged, written and recorded by opie and me in our recording studio.
it has been described as both "timeless and haunting". this CD is titled Strange Tales and the cover art, a playful collage, was designed by opie. the lyrics to the song "Journey Thru Maya" was published in the anthology: The Hand of Destiny and pretty much sums up my philosophy on life. the last song, Let's Just Say Goodbye, was written by Wally Bryson of The Raspberries, and recorded in our studio in new york late one night and he graciously let me sing on it with him because i thought it was one of the coolest songs i ever heard.
